Functions of  Graph Window

The window consists of Plotting Zone and Definition Zone. The latter occupies right or lower part of the window, depending on orientation of splitter. You can drag splitter with the mouse. Right click separator to and change its orientation.

In the right lower corner of the window ArtSGraph displays Cartesian coordinates of the point of Graph Plotting Zone corresponding to the position of cursor.  This allows to approximately determine coordinates of specific points of graphs.

After you enter graph definition the graph will be plotted automatically. After you delete definition the graph will be erased.

To enter definition and plot the graph

• Double-click free space of Definition Zone or choose Command -> New Graph from menu, or press Ctrl+F.
• Select definition type on the pop-up window, click OK or press Enter.
• Type-in graph definition according to the rules specific for each type. Status line reminds of the proper format. Press Enter. The graph will be plotted immediately.

In case of an error in definition, fix the error and press Enter again.    

To edit definition and re-plot the graph

• double-click the definition

• Edit definition and Press Enter. The graph will be re-plotted immediately.

To remove definition and erase  the graph

• click the definition
• Press Delete or select Delete from right-button menu

To remove all definitions and erase all graphs

• Select Command -> Clear All from menu or select Clear All from right-button menu

To redraw all graphs

• Press F5 or select Command -> Redraw Graphs from menu
