Functions of the Window

Calc Window is used to perform various math operations.

For instance, you can

• enter arithmetic expression and calculate its value
• define function of one or several variables to use it later in your calculations or to plot its graph
• get value of a function at given value(s) of argument(s)
• obtain expression for derivative of a function 
• calculate definite integral of a function
• calculate a  finite sum

You enter commands in the Command Zone of the window and execute them by pressing Enter. ArtSGraph displays results in the Result Zone and displays all defined variables in the Variable Zone.

You may re-execute any command by pressing Enter or F2. The difference is that after pressing F2 cursor remains on the same line. So you can just repeatedly press F2 to execute a command many times. This allows you to make loop calculations.
