Translation files must have '.lcl' extension.
File consists of lines of usual unformatted text (plain text). Translation file must starts with tag and finish with tag Each line must consist of the source (original) English text followed by the '=' symbol (code 61) and translated text: SOURCE TEXT=TRANSLATED TEXT. Empty lines not allowed. Line started with ';' (code 59) is comment.

You must turn off translations and then turn on it back before .lcl file's changes will take effect.
For collection of the not translated texts the special version ArtSKey is used. During the operation he writes all retrieved not translated lines in a special log file. The file is placed in the directory \Own Texts and is named lf0.log. Each recording in the file looks like: SOURCE=SOURCE. You need only to write on the right, translated strings and to transfer this text to the new translations file.
If you were interested with the given ArtSKey possibility, contact to us by E-Mail support@artsoft.ru.
There are strings consisting of several substrings, disjointed character "|", the part from which does not need to be translated. In this case substrings which are not subject to translation and on the right and at the left are substituted with "##". For example, the initial string Document outbox|21.06.00|12:54 in the file of translations should look so:
    Document outbox|##|##=Translated string|##|##
